Meet HVC’s Year-round Office Staff
Lucia Picard started working at Hidden Valley in 1989 while she was a student at nearby Unity College. After graduating in 1992 with a Bachelor's degree in Park Management she began her full time position as Office Manager at Hidden Valley. A life long resident of Maine, one of Lucia's favorite things to do is share her love of the state with staff and parents by offering maps, directions and suggestions about fun things to do while visiting the area. Her main responsibilities in the office include processing camper enrollments, managing databases and speaking with inquiring parents interested in Hidden Valley. Lucia's dog Digger joined her in the office 3 years ago and quickly won over the hearts of many. She and her husband Matt live in nearby Unity with Digger and their two cats.

| Jodie Martin grew up just a mile or two from Hidden Valley and has been working here for many years, first as Peter and Meg’s daughters’ summer “nanny” and now wearing many hats in the camp office all year long. Jodie makes initial contact with inquiring families, provides creative updates to this expansive Web site, and readies many camp activities (camping trips, excursions to the roller rink, our visiting performers, etc.) in anticipation of the spring arrival of HVC’s five Program Directors. A 2009 graduate of Mt. Holyoke College, Majoring in Philosophy, Jodie is also a farmer at heart, spending time caring for a nearby herd of cows at an organic dairy. Other interests include spinning, knitting and baby creatures (human and animal!)
