Summer Alumni Family WeekendSave the Date for HVC’s 1st Family Camp Weekend August 19-21, 2011Do you love Hidden Valley Camp? Do you want to experience HVC with your future HVC campers? Do you envy your kids all month long as they hang with llamas and swim in the lake? Do you have friends whom you’d like to introduce to camp? Did you work at HVC and always dreamed of being a camper? Join us next summer for our first ever HVC Family Camp. Stay in cabins with other families and enjoy many of the camp activities held during the regular season. There will be classes for children only, adults only, and both adults and their sons and daughters. Whether you want to try the Ropes Course with your family, swim at the lake, take a relaxing yoga class, or try your hand at stained glass beads, there will be something for everyone. Other activities include: llama care, boating, horses, fine arts, dance, tennis, biking, music. Evening activities will include a Pinegrove campfire and ever-popular Hidden Valley Hoe-Down, after which you can tuck the kids in and enjoy a cup of tea in the dining hall, or star gaze on the soccer field.
Details: -- All ages welcome; parents will have to provide supervision for children 5 and under. -- Arrive between 2 PM and 5 PM on Friday; depart Sunday afternoon. -- Great HVC meals; we can accommodate most allergies and diets. -- Fees: $190.00 per person over 5 years old; $130 for 5 and under; 2011 HVC campers attend for $70.00 Invite your friends who might be looking for a great summer camp, but don’t know where to start.
