Packing for CampThe Basics:
Necessary: Sleeping bag or blankets and sheets and pillow cases. (We provide pillows, but because supplies are limited, must reserve our blankets and sheets for campers only.) Optional: Reference books; costumes, etc. for theatre; musical instruments; tennis racket; dance outfits; music and players for dance. Suggested: 'Day-pack' or similar small bag (to carry notebooks, class supplies, etc., during the day); water bottle; "crazy creek' chair. Note: camp's potters will make you a custom coffee mug during staff week. Please note:Laundry: You are responsible for yours. Coin-op machines are located in nearby towns, and in camp's staff cabin as well.We strongly suggest that you leave unneeded valuables (especially jewelry) at home! We do not want you to be disappointed, as possessions of sentimental value can be easily lost in this hectic and informal environment. We provide combination lock boxes to keep travelers' checks, passports, etcetera in safekeeping. |
