Professional potters direct our large studio equipped with kick and electric wheels and three kilns. Campers create sculptures, mugs, bowls, tiles and other special projects.

Hidden Valley - Visual Arts ProgramA modern darkroom, equipped with seven enlargers, is the foundation for a dynamic photography program. Campers use our 35mm cameras and then develop and enlarge black & white film for the photos published in the camp's glossy annual yearbook.

Craftspeople conduct workshops in batik, silkscreening, drawing, traditional American crafts, fabric design, sewing, watercolor, and other special projects. Many of these instructors are full time professional artisans.
